The general characteristics of our wines, considering the mentioned quality of grapes and the way of processing, are that they are strong, with intensive varietal characteristics, with a lot of alcohol and optimal acids. These are wines of intense colors, aromas and flavors. All our wines undergo chemical analysis at the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade The most famous geological formation created by Nisava is the Sićevačka gorge, between Bela Palanka and Niška Banja. It was named after the village of Sićevo. It is about 16 km long and forms the Nis valley with the valley of Bela Palanka. The gorge is divided into two parts, the upper and lower gorge. The upper part is narrower and more similar to the canyon, while the lower part has wide gentle slopes. The gorge is bordered by the Svrljig mountains from the north and the slopes of Suva planina from the south. Important objects in the gorge are the Sićevo monastery of St. Bogorodica, built in 1644, and renovated in 1875, after being demolished by the Turks, as well as the church of St. Petke in Ostrovica. Due to its geomorphological features as well as unique flora and fauna, since 1977 the gorge has been declared a Nature Park (category V according to IUCN 1994, Guidelines for Protected Areas Management: a protected area with significant ecological and cultural assets). The presence of three plant species that inhabit the gorge and that are reasonably suspected to have disappeared in other territories of Serbia is significant. These are Ramonda serbica, Ramonda nathaliae and sage. These relict species are legally protected in Serbia as a natural rarity. So far, about 100 species of birds have been registered in the area of the Sićevačka gorge. The species that makes the area internationally important is the largest owl in the world, the owl and 32 other species of rare birds, among which the most important are the barn owl, the golden eagle, the gray falcon and others. Recently, Klisura is on the route of European Corridor 10, section Nis-Sofia, and is a significant tourist destination. Apart from tourism, the region's economy is linked to extensive livestock and viticulture.
