The Holy Trinity Church is located in the Vidin village of Kapitanovtsi. It is the second largest in the district after Vidin Cathedral ""St. Dimitar"". The Debar painter Krasto Yankov painted in the church. Construction began on May 29, 1884 and was completed in 1889. It is believed to have been built in the likeness of the Greek Church in the town of Calafat. Apart from its beautiful church, the village of Kapitanovtsi is also famous for hosting the international folklore festival ""Danube and Timok connect us"". The first edition of the festival is from 2011
