The “Eski” Mosque was built in the first half of the 18th century. It is located in the oldest district of Vratsa - "Kemera", at the foot of the Vratsa Balkans, where the main tourist routes to the village of Zgorigrad, the cave "Ledenika" and hut “Parshevitsa”. Only the main building of the temple is preserved - a square hall with dimensions of 10/10 meters. The mosque had a strictly high minaret, documented in old photographs and subsequently partially destroyed by an earthquake and further destroyed by the bombing of the city in 1943-1944. The mosque has not been used for religious purposes since 1867.
