The Kurt Pasha Tower dates from the 17th century, but its elements and way of construction show continuity from the fortress construction of the late Bulgarian Middle Ages from the 16th century. It belonged to the noble Bulgarian family of Kurt - Pashovtsi, who were forced to accept the Muslim faith, but the Turkish government allowed them to stay and manage their old possessions. To prevent anyone who dared to challenge and try to take away their lands, they ordered a tower with powerful stone walls to be erected, which reached a height of 10 meters and consisted of four levels with one room on each floor.
