Festival "Kaleto Mezdra"

The festival of medieval traditions, life and culture is held in the summer months in the Archaeological Complex “Kaleto” in the town of Mezdra and presents the life, way of life and cuisine of the population of our lands from past centuries. In 2020 it is held for the sixth time and is part of the celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the declaration of Mezdra as a city. The festival is part of the activities for sustainability under the project “Welcome to the Middle Ages,” implemented by the Municipality of Mezdra and the Municipality of Dobrosloveni, Romania under the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Romania – Bulgaria 2014-2020.
